New Patient Objectives
 

Our primary objective is to give you relief from your pain, suffering, disease or disability. While your symptoms are severe, we will treat you more frequently in order to bring the momentum of your condition under control. As we improve the severity of your symptoms, we also hope to prevent any unnecessary permanent damage. Rapid control enables us to reduce the chance of possible complications.

Our second objective is to control the causes of your present condition and reverse its effects. In the process you will naturally begin to feel much better.

Our third objective is to stabilize the corrections we have attained as well as endeavor to achieve more permanent correction. At this point your symptoms may have almost disappeared. This is the point when Chiropractic care really begins in the absence of symptoms. Should you withdraw from treatment just as your symptoms fade, chances are that the condition will return in the near future. Relief is only the first stage of proper care. It should be followed by reconstructive and then maintenance care.

Our fourth objective is to recognize that your health is your own problem and responsibility. Therefore we respect your privilege to choose either relief, reconstructive or maintenance care. We try to provide you with whatever it takes to make an educated decision.

Our fifth objective is to make a reasonable program of treatment recommendations, which fit your current need. Your health is a constantly dynamic and changing thing subject to many different factors. Your needs and health care goals set the pace of your treatment. Some patients what only to stay out of major pain. Most of our patients recognize that their health is one of their most important assets and they should do whatever they can to maximize it. We therefore offer diet, exercise and nutritional guidance to those patients who what to maintain a higher level of true health.

Our sixth and ongoing objective is to re-evaluate your condition at regular intervals. Since your spine as well as your health is constantly changing, we may need to periodically change your treatments in order to be successful. Therefore we will also recommend periodic re-evaluations and possibly re-x-rays as well as other test. These will be based on any major change in your health or condition or once a certain amount of time has passed.
